Vita Chambers is a talented Canadian-Barbadian singer and songwriter born on June 10, 1993, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

In June 2009, at just 16 years old, Vita caught the attention of Sylvia Rhone and signed with SRP Records/Universal Motown Records Group, a label known for launching stars like Rihanna and Shontelle. She made her big-stage debut in November 2009, performing as an opening act at the NFL Thanksgiving Day half-time show, where she sang “Heat Wave” during the Motown Review. Her official breakthrough came in March 2010 with the release of her debut single, “Young Money,” followed by her first EP, The Get Go, featuring five tracks and available on iTunes.

With Barbadian roots flowing through her veins, Vita spent much of her childhood in Barbados after moving there from Canada. Her musical talent shone early on, and at the age of 15, she began uploading videos and four original son​gs to her MySpace page—a move that kickstarted her rise in the music world.

At 17, Vita landed a golden opportunity to join Justin Bieber as an opening act on his 2010 My World Tour, including a memorable performance in Barbados. She also graced stages at renowned festivals like Lilith Fair, Bamboozle Road Show, and Pop-Con. Her career soared further in December 2012 when, as an independent artist under her own label, Gold Note Productions, she released “Fix You.” The single became a massive hit, cracking the Top 40 in Canada, earning Gold certification, and selling over 350,000 copies worldwide. “Fix You” also snagged a nomination for Best Dance Record at the 2013 Juno Awards.

Following that success, Vita kept the momentum going with singles like “What If?” (2013) and “A+D” (2014), songs that reflected her belief in the inherent goodness of people. In 2015, she dropped “Kings Of Love” alongside its music video, followed by a string of releases in 2016, including “His Love,” “A+D Orchestral,” “Tell Me,” “Ferrous,” and “Want You.” In 2018, she announced plans for an upcoming EP titled VITA.
